I find that very carefully inserting a X-acto knife blade in between the pins you want to straighten & then using the least amount of pressure possible to “straighten” the pins as best as possible (does not need to be perfect, just separated/not shorting one another) has served me well in the past.

Pins 77-79 on that chip labeled IC1 in your first pic appear to be bent & could possibly be shorting next to one another. Are you able to (or are you able to get) someone to try straightening those pins out & seeing if that fixes your issues?

Just open it slowly from the fan side (put board upside down, then pull the two halves apart from the top of where the fan area would “rest” on the B board. Pry them open slowly (emphasis on slow!) which will increase your chances of separating them intact.
