A friend mentioned he had a Batsugun with a cold solder joint on a crystal oscillator and wouldn't boot and pushing on it made it boot. I've been to Ken's many times and he tests everything flat on his workbench but not hung sideways vertically, so maybe that is the issue.

Ah it should def work on the NAC actually.. that is weird. You can try with a third power source and if it's still defective, then probably needs a reflow somewhere with a cold solder joint on a pin or two.

Sorry to hear your game still isn't working with my HK-1000 module ! Is your other cabinet.. also an Impress ? If so I would side with Fox that some games don't work on some cabs.. like (Korean) M92 games won't boot on my Blast city for example.
