Hey I can't seem to find any more broken traces beyond the ones I repaired... The diag bios gives me CRC Error , Actual: EED53B51, Expected: 651DBEF3. I've tested the bios on another board and it works.

I managed to get the board to boot the VEC signal line was damaged. Now I cant get carts to boot.

Hello, I have a 4 slot mvs which is stuck in watch dog, I have tried using the diag bios on it but the board isnt able to boot into it. I also tried jumping the watch dog disable jumper.

I managed to find the problem. The original neo-e0 on the board was dead, and the one I swapped it with also happened to be dead. I swapped it with another on and the board is working properly now.

I've replaced the neo-e0,g0,d0 all around that area, and I cant seem to find any broken traces. Do you have any other suggestions?

Would you be able to give me your best guess on which chip I should look at based on the grid on the board?

Hello all, I recently got a full sega model 1 cage (minus the sound stuff). I just got all the power and video hooked up but its just giving me a blue screen with some white dots on it. There's no led activity on the main board stack, and there is only the power led lit up on the io board...

I've replaced all of the backup and work ram chips on the board, there is slightly less garbage on the screen now, but still watchdogging. I'll have to do some more probing, but I'm not seeing any obviously broken traces.

Update, I replaced the neo-257, neo-g0, and neo-e0 at locations k-10, k-9, and j-9 since I had some I was able to salvage. No improvement doing that, idk if this info helps at all.

Hey, there is hum coming through the speakers with the sound turned up (it actually picks up and amplifies a radio station if I touch the caps for some reason), there is just no sound coming from the cartridges. Do you know which pins on the sound chip I should check?
