So I have the opportunity to get a decently priced japanese crazy taxi cabinet with some audio issues and a cracked marquee. Was wondering how difficult it would be to convert it over to having a normal single player control panel? Has anyone else tried this?

I own a type x3 but I'm currently trying to determine if buying a type x would be the move and it seems like that might be what I want to do. Not fond of the emulated stuff on the x3 multi and would rather have access to the real versions of some of the the shmups on the tx1

I have an mvs 4 slot upright and it runs fine but when I first start it up or when I hit the switch game button the audio distorts for about 15 seconds or so then goes back to normal. Not sure if anyone else has experienced this and can maybe help diagnose what's going on? Thanks for your time
