A Call for Sega 315-5385 Reproduction

I think decapping and die tracing is the only way to figure out the functions of this custom IC.I agree Furrtek is pure genius, he is the only guy able to to such things, other people can decap the chip but not identifying the internal structure and, most important thing, writing Verilog code of...

    'NMK-111' and 'NMK-112' reproduction

The 'NMK-111' and 'NMK-112' are two custom chips found on many arcade PCBs from NMK manfacturer. They share the same QFP64 package : Technically speaking the 'NMK-111' is used for latching RGB output (just before the 'NMK-007' R/2R DACs) and handling palette RAM. It's also used for...

    Capcom '86S105' reproduction

I don't know, I have to do some logic analyizing to compare signals of original custom IC and reproduction.Probably it's something to do with FPGA being too much fast for the old TTL hosting hardware.I don't think there is some mistake in 'furrtek' work since the reproduction works fine on all...

Thanks to the always brilliant work of 'furrtek' another custom IC has been reproduced and preserved. It's the Capcom '86S105, the sprites generator used on many PCBs like : 1943 Ashita Tenki ni Naare, Black Tiger, Block Block, Capcom Baseball, Capcom World, Dokaben 2, Pang, Poker Ladies...

WTB Toaplan “d70016u” gxc-04 custom chip

Yes, this was my assumption since Demon's World do use the 'GXC-04' MCU.

WTB Toaplan “d70016u” gxc-04 custom chip

The GXC-04 is a TMS320C010 DSP co-processor in disguise with internal MASK ROM, it's used as protection. Anyway, I just checked, Zero Wing PCB does not carry the 'GXC-04', maybe your are confusing it with the 'FDA' chip. Please, check better your board.
