FOUND - Looking for a confirmed working C board that's ready for the DS CPS1 Multi. Previously purchased one off ebay. Did the hack repair and it's still no good. So now ready to pay a little extra for a confirmed working C board.

Yep. Just need to catch up on the threads so I understand common setups and what the acrylic kits need to support. Such as the lcd controller and maybe the dip switch extender.

Late to the party but finally purchased the CPS1 Multi kit. Now to spend the next few evenings reading up on the different threads. lol

For those that need them I've add a small inventory of Lazy Finger cases to my store again. Will add more if needed.

Looking at the CPS1 multi, my existing CPS1 plates should fit. As i'm sure the holes will line up to be a direct drop-in replacement of the B board. So then I would just need to make a custom top plate for the LCD and controls. Is it the same as the F3 or the ST-V? How's the ribbon cable...

Sorry, regional plastic supplier only had the thinner material. Still waiting on 6mm acrylic I use for base plates. Looks like just over a week (at the earliest).

After some digging it appears to be a bad A board. Also on a side note, while testing I discovered this was a previously undumped revision of SF2 WW. It's actually the final USA revision that matches the final JP release. Dumped and added to MAME the other week :thumbup:

Hey guys, trying to dip my toes back into CPS stuff. It's been years. Picked up a SF2 WW today with minor graphic glitch. Boards are clean. "A" has a Z80 repair but audio is fine. Also it's a CPS Dash board. Which is odd for a WW board, right? Everything plays fine. All background sprites load...

A mix of colored and clear acrylic. I try to avoid painting. As it seems to take forever for it to truly set. Plus then I worry about it flaking off in the future.

As @kidpanda can attest, the pcb acrylic plates didn't fit completely right. They were going to cover the bottom and top of the bare multi pcb but a few screws and spacers I designed blocked the black brackets on the case from closing completely. So going to have to revisit my design. On the...

Here's a top plate i'm working on. I had to replace the F3 logo and some of the larger text in Adobe Illustrator. I've been posting my progress in Instagram.

Would you guys ( @PascalP) be okay if I used this label or a version of it for engraving some acrylic i'm working on for the multi? Well assuming the lettering translates well (readable) on acrylic. If not, that's fine. I'm not trying to steal others hard work.

My suggestion is to make friends with whatever local gamer/arcade guys you have in your area. Go to the meet-ups, etc. Those are the guys that probably can help you find something in your area.
