PascalP is right, System 246 is really picky about 5 volt. Mine will only work with 5.2 volt and a good PSU.

I believe the partition size of FAT32 is 32GB. I "hate" multiple partitions for Windows 98 PC's (only want a C-Drive; C:\APPS; C:\GAMES; C:\DOS; C:\WINDOWS), so I use 8GB (16GB is better :) ) which is enough for me.

CF Card will be recognized as an IDE HDD. Works fine without any issues from my experience. (I use it in an AMD K6-2 Windows 98SE PC)

That solution is for hard discs and not for DVD/CD-ROM. IDE is just the interface.

Could you make a picture of your setup including PSU? I had a System 246A running within a Naomi with this adapter; At the moment I have a System 246B running with a universal PSU, but like PascalP said, you need to set your 5V to 5.2V (I think).

You can try the PS3 + HDMI to VGA converter on another VGA screen to check if you got the pinkish hue, but I think the issue is the combination of a PS3 like system + HDMI to VGA + Sanwa screen. You could also try a HD Fury, but they are I little bit expensive I think. Sorry can not help you...

I believe (from memory) that I had also some issues with my XBOX One with a HDMI to DVI cable on my Vewlix L (Samsung screen I think). For now I use a cheap ass HDMI to VGA converter (also to split the audio to 3,5 minijack) which works flawlessly...
