If anybody else has a RFJ board and could try running it without the Z80, I’d be interested to know whether it freezes for you at this exact spot as it does for me. Just turn it on and let the attract mode run for a minute without pressing anything. For me this is consistent.

I’ve got a 400-5198-01 PSU (which I presume is just a later revision of the 400-5198 ). Do you happen to know if the capacitor list is the same? If not, has anybody mapped this one out?

I recall some of the high-wattage MeanWell PSUs would output this rather annoying high pitched whine when a PCB isn't drawing a minimum amount of current. Glad to note that it won't harm the PCB, but I wonder if it harms the PSU itself.
