OOh I've been away for a bit. Anyone know if there's a 'NotNiko' type torrent of the current image, which is right up to date ? I could seed it for a while after getting it too, as I've a torrent doobrie running on my NAS... :P

It is a little - thermostatic small electric fan is sufficient to keep it at nice levels. Only in the coldest weather does it run though - the shed is mostly cosy enough without it. In fact - running the machines is a much better way to generate heat !

Perhaps the DDP2 cart isn't protected ? So it's more happy to run either ROM ? It deffo changed the language on the title screen, although as it's Dodonpachi2, there's not a lot of change in-game. Also the region changed on the 'do not pirate this game' screen at boot up.

OK, having opened the Ketsui I got - note mine has a small toggle switch which somehow swaps banks or something, as it has the original Ketsui and also the fan mod Ketsui Arrange which can be selected at boot. See pics. There'es a cable soldered to one of the pins on the game rom (I think) -...

I'd have to bow to the above: a forumite burnt it for me and posted it - so I don't actually know :rolleyes:

I burnt a version 1.02 (Japan) of DDP2 Beestorm to a new eeprom - the rom from Mame incidentally, and then opened up my version 1.00 (English) cart, and swapped the roms. The cart is now a Japanese game, and works perfectly So I it may be as simple as just needing a different rom for your cart ?

It is a big shed - a sort of timber 12 x 8 workshop - which I then had kingspan insulated, then plastered. Proper electrics fitted mid build too. I've got a few in progress pics I can probably put somewhere. It was a big place but shrunk a bit as we insulated and floored - but the ultimate...

Good point :) Hadn't occurred to me that. Newer edition / bug fixes though might be to the good...

I've actually got both versions - steam version was like a quid in a sale - but it's a bit further along the development path - last time I tried the GOG version it had no achievements etc... Great work though ! Keep it coming ;)

Heh I never play more than one credit - and no continues - but of course that just means that later levels are rock hard as I'm not well versed ! I've never even studied play throughs ! Good luck with your mission.

Ignore me. Lol ! I have a cart and Mobo that arrived this morning... Pics to follow. It has a switch to flip between normal and BL versions I think. edit: Nope - it switches to the 'Arrange' mode as per above. I still plan to dump the rom assuming there's no odd wiring in place to flip roms...

Thanks - I'm kinda done with the build and the cabs are all in pretty good working order. It leaves me to concentrate on the content and actually play the games !! :) I bought EspGaluda like a year ago and still can't beat third level boss lol !

I run it on a CRT - so the option would be nice - as would a rotate option for only Vert stuff..... (but we're getting picky here lol!) @Niko - you have PM ;)

Willdo - I'll pop in up somewhere tonight and drop you a link. It's the PC version though - so you might need to map outputs from the JVS to keys of some sort.

This is my little shed arcade - I finished it last autumn, and having moved the cabs in and done a little cab-tetris, I've done very little other than cycle PCB's and a Mame PC every now and then. Nearest E2 - DDP Doj PGM or DDP2 PGM Middle E2 - EspGaluda PCB Sitdown Naomi - Mame PC Standup...
