I guess I'm basicly done, thanks for the help, I'll still look into that scart to component. I'm interest in building a mvs and cps2 cab so I'll see ya guys around for some help on those.

I fix the bottom side of the case, got the hair dryer out and worked it slowly, should have a reasonably flat mobo now when mounted, it was curved a bit someone must of left it in a hot car or something. I checked all the caps and they are in spec.

I now have this working in ntsc with correct colour, the mobo needs a look over, i never got it working correctly upon arrival and assume it was ntsc/pal problem, could be a cracked trace/joint or caps need replacement , a little bit of oxide on one of the joypad socket bolts , the bottom case...

cheers, i might consider that option. currently looking for one for sale in aus.

I have a philips crt t-v nothing fancy, some old t-v i picked up for $15,old t-v's are becoming very hard to find in australia. i don't recall scart being very popular, i think in the old converting from crt tv to plasma days they started using them here and then faded out. wouldn't mind rgb...

I just wounder why some of my ntsc consoles work on my TV but not the aes :( , sega mega drive ntsc does the same thing, b/w image, but ntsc turbo graphics,ntsc neo geo cd, ntsc dream caste all work fine

I came from neogeo.com, the website isn't secure and after a week waiting for an email on account activation with no reply, I gave up. Scart would be rgb and I'm pretty sure pal or ntsc need no apply, colour will look normal, it's a problem with composite output.

Hi all, i'm new here, tried the neo geo forums and yeah it's escape from la over there... I have an old crt here, handles all my other ntsc consoles well and pal systems, but having problems with my neo geo aes, b/w ,wonky picture ectt. any how i desolder the ntsc jumper and bridged pal 1 and 2...
