I just picked up 10+ Naomis with some carts on a warehouse grab this week. (I think I have 12 or 13 total units, all original white, no blue 2s)
Is there any way to identify the carts (most look like blue dim, no LAN) with no labels? (5 or 6)
Others I have for sure are 18 wheeler and I have a Zombies Revenge and (EDIT NOS see pics) marquee translite.
I have a couple other carts with labels also but didnt get pics while stuffing the box.

Will get some pics of the stash when I get home after work.

This operator never keeps stuff that is total shit, and I have had 80% success rate with boot or working on most of the boards I bought from them in the past.
I know this one is finnicky though so currently untested.

I would love to sell them all as a lot to someone who is interested in review and repair, but not sure anyone wants a bulk buy on these.

Pics to follow tonight but wanted to get this up and posted for review.

EDIT - 18 MAY 2026 - I tested all these boards and carts, results in new post at the end of thread

EDIT - 11 JUNE 2026 - SOLD for $2400 plus shipping

This week has been bananas. I am hoping to get some time to take pics of all of the mains and carts tomorrow or Monday. Will post up and see what you all think.

And yes. I’m near Ann Arbor MI.

You should be able to match up the ROMs with references online. For example, the four visible on the bottom of my Crazy Taxi cart say MPR-21680 to 21683. Some only have them on the other side, as shown in the attached file. That's easy to check since only two screws hold it in. I would assume they all start with MPR, and there's also an EPROM with an EPR number on that side that could be checked. If the Sega part number added to the board with a label is unique to that game, searching for it might pop up the PDF manual that matches it. You might have to remove the letter at the end in case the manual is older, as I would guess the pictured one is Revision B.

I’ll post pics of the Naomi’s next.
Reasonable offers for the entire lot will be taken first. I’d rather send this all to someone who is interested in these as a lot than start cherry-picking and me having to store the leftovers.

Send over a reasonable offer and I can get this out this week.

I have 12x. Naomi systems (counted them up).
Will get pics posted asap.

Per the new sales thread rules, if anyone is interested in this entire lot I am looking for $1900 (that’s what I have tied up in this) plus shipping.

EDIT - Now that I have had to take all the time to clean and test all of this, price has gone up to $2600 plus shipping.

I’m not a big Naomi fan but I wanted to save these from the operator I found them at otherwise they’d prob sit on the shelf forever.

I have now had a chance to test all of these.

12pc Naomi 1
1 Wont boot dead AF.
1 Boots, both chimes, with shit video, will not boot further (cannot get a game to play blind)
1 Boots with Error 03, i didnt spend anytime trying to figure this one out.
9 boot "normally", and pass ram and audio test in test screen with no game installed.

** I will be keeping one of the working Naomi1 for myself, JVC rig is not for sale (yet), other 11 Naomis are for sale now along with all dim carts (untested, as I dont have a Grom) , also included are cart listed below and pictured above.

Testing Notes:

A couple may need new CPU fans, i did NOT test any of the case fans.
All of these were tested on my test bench with a JVC Jamma adapter with power offer bench, audio on rca and VGA cable to JVC to JAMMA to LCD.

i used the same board (not sure what to call it) that power, audio and video plug into, i just kept everything plugged in to that and JVC and disconnected the PCB from the dual header and cycled through them.

I used the multibios.
All Super Caps have been removed (not by me)
All Batteries have been removed (by me)
All units will ship with BIOS eprom empty. I can erase and burn 9 copies of the Multi Bios or simply include the eproms not installed, same price.

I ran each board though boot, RAM test, AUDIO test, delete backup data and that is it.
I did NOT test each board with a working cart, only did boot and testing as noted above.

All carts were tested in a Naomi 1 or Naomi 2, Cart Rom test and attempt to start a game and play for a min or two.
NO in depth play testing completed.

Cartridge test results:
Virtua Fighter 4 Naomi 2 cart - tested in N2. Passes all test, coins up and plays.

Capcom VS SNK Millenium fight 2000 - Test in N1, Passes all test, coins up and plays.

WWF Royal Rumble - tested in N2 and N1 - corrupt, fails test, will not start or coinup.

Zombie Revenge - tested in N2 - passes test, coins up and seems to play

18 Wheeler - tested in N1 - 1/2 of the cart test fails, tested in N2 passes all of cart test (not sure if this is normal?) will coinup and start, but not able to play as I only have joystick on bench and i think this needs a spinner / opto wheel to work correctly.

Mazan - Flash of the Blade - Tested on N1 and N2. N1 passes all tests, boots to "I/O PCB ERROR", on N2 passes all tests, boots to black screen.

I think that should cover everything? and i am trying to be as transparent as possible. If I have missed something, please let me know.

I would love to get rid of all this in one batch to someone who knows what to do with them.

NOT included:
N2 i used to do some cart testing
JVC Jamma
One working N1.
Shipping NOT included, this will be a big box and could be much different rate depending on where it is going.

Included:

All 8 DIMM carts (no way to test)
11 Naomi 1 (1 dead, 1 shit video kind of boots, 1 boots to Error 3, 8 "working")
Virtua Fighter 4 N2 cart
Capcom VS SNK MF2000 cart
WWF cart
Zombie Revenger Cart and marquee translite (has a crack in translite)
18 wheeler cart
Mazan Cart

Also included is a dead Naomi2 that I cracked open and it is missing the main CPU (no wonder it wouldnt work) and will not have heatsink fans (keeping as backup for my n2)

all N1 cases are intact, none are totally destroyed or jacked up, may be missing some screws and a couple plastic standoffs, but nothing egregious.
All cases include a case fan but they are all untested, I unhooked to cycle through them faster.

Help me get this out of my way. I took a gamble on this at $1900 to try and save it not knowing any of it would work, so new pricing is to cover that initial amount and now a bit of money for my time to gather, test and report on all this, I also expect this to take me a good couple hours to pack safely and correctly.

Please let me know what you think and if interested, drop me a DM, I would love to get this out of the way before the holiday...
Local pickup in unlikely but would be even better.

I would also take $1900 cash to cover my initial spend and some non working boards in trade to cover the rest.

Don’t like the price? You can make me an offer. My wife wants these off her kitchen table.

Bump
Willing to split into a couple sales if someone wants half or so. Wife is chirping about her kitchen table and I need to get it out of there.
Am trying to get this all out in one or two batches and avoiding singles for now.
MMAO if interested, am always willing to trade for PCBs also.

This is super confusing, there are circular references between AP and AM? Are all the game carts working ? You need to have a price, MMAO is a no go now, every sales listing needs to have a price, If you are splitting the bundle, I am intrested in a working naomi 1 board , whats the price for that?
I am not sure what you mean by AP and AM, let me know what and I can try to clarify. I think maybe you mean Arcade Projects and Arcade Museum? If that is the case, I am trying to keep this thread more up to date than KLOV (AM) as the group here seems to be more into this platform and am just linking KLOV over to here.

I have listed what each cartridge does with minimal testing above, so in short, no, they all do not work, but I have listed what they do when plugged in. see notes in previous post.

I do have a price, and have since the start on the whole lot as it was right around the time the new rules came out, but if someone wanted to MMAO on part of this they are welcome to DM me what they want and what their offer is based on the total price I have listed here. It was simply being posted as an option if someone may be interested in less than the whole lot, but I did not mean it as a way to get around the no MMAO rule, I would still love to get this all in one or two boxes and shipped as a bundle to one person or group of Naomi enthusiasts on a group buy.

I dont have a price on a partial bundle as it could be made for whatever part of the initial bundle (everything) as they would like. I have not yet decided to make this into two or more distinct bundles, at which time I would make new listed for each and bundle and have a price for that bundle.

I am still hoping to get this batch into the hands of someone who is interested in this platform, as I am not. I saved these from languishing away on a shelf in a warehouse for another 30 years expecting someone would want them, but dont think I will do it again on this platform. I dont have the time or understanding of this setup to be confident in testing and selling these as known working, which is why I was hoping to bulk them out to someone who can to get them back into circulation.

I did the basic tests at boot for each and reported above, but dont know the ins and outs of these to test everything and be confident in that.

Sorry for any confusion or wasting peoples time. I wont buy these in bulk again, this has proven to be a mistake on my part and I am still just trying to cover what I am in for the initial buy plus a bit for the time to clean and test all of these.
