Hello,
I have a 1942 main board that I’m trying to test using a HAS supergun… the setup works fine until I connect the board. It trips the overload circuit in the Happ power supply…. Any thoughts?

Always worth mentioning, have you connected it correctly?
1942 is not jamma.

You probably have a Tantalum cap that is shorted. Common issue. An ESR meter can be used as a high frequency milliohmmeter to find the tantalum cap with the lowest resistance across its leads.

If you have a multimeter you can check reisistance (with the power off) of the disconnected PCB to see if it's the +5, +12, or -5v that is shorted to ground.
