This is SOLD.

I have a 6 In 1 Jamma that has been modified to use a rotary switch instead of the remote. The usual recommended mods have also been done.

Works great! I have 4 others that I use all the time.

They've always worked great for me.

$115 shipped.

Thanks,

Brent

These work great with Darksoft Multi-kits and others.

Only powers one board at a time.

Believe it or not, it even works with the cheap jamma extensions...

:D

Personally I love the remote. I have 4 other boards that I use with the remote.

The main problem with the remote is that every one of these uses the same remote. So if you have one of these in two different cabs, every time you change one slot, it will change both.

So using the selector solves that problem.

There also is a solution called the "Nomote" where you use both start buttons to change slots, which is pretty cool.

:D

Will these really not fit in a candy? I want one for a VS, no problem there but also eventually want one for an NAC and Blast. I was looking inside one of my Blasts last night to work out how I would fit multiple boards. The wooden board could take maybe a CPS2, F3 and S16 multi. If not an S16, an S-TV... I think this think may be mountable on the inside above the wood board. Somehow!

They should fit, the problem is you will need extensions for each board you connect. no way you are gonna fit 6 jamma boards on these without extensions, unless you have a monster cab.

These jamma switcher boards need a redesign, to make them smaller and use jamma extension harnesses also.

Oh god yeah, will not work without extenders. Maybe Snow Bros., Chuuka Taisen, Contra and other small boards could go in as is, but can you image trying to balance the other boards together? Haha, disaster city waiting to happen.

Highly agree that these need a new design, something better than cheap Chinese quality, too. I have seen some US boards that look good, but expensive. Double the price for people like me before postage is even thought about. Hopefully someone local will come up with something. It is nice when something like Frank's S16 multi lcd comes up, no worry about postage prices when I buy it. Price could fluctuate because of parts cost, but still better than buying from overseas.

Of course you don't need jamma extensions to use this! It works perfectly without them!

Is it possible to convert it back? Also super interestedd
I'm not sure you can convert it back, but I don't have the remote for it anyway.

The main reason you don't want to use the remote is that if you have two of these, they both run off the same remote. So if you have two cabs each with a switcher on remote, every time you change one switcher they both will change at the same time.
