Looks like a bad video card to me.

(Prob, ram or GPU fault).

Next step: Test unit with a known good one. If old card tests bad, then replace with new part.

In order to help you out, nik needs to update the video card driver package on the multi drive to accept new types of video cards.


This can be a bit tricky as the limitying factors here are the case (size) and the psu rating.


In sum, you don't want to over do it.

I recently got a Type X2 from Japan to have it multimodded.
But i got a problem IO problem and i don't know why, with it's original software (Cyberdiver).....
I got XIO ERROR(-3) as you can see below:

Here are the hardware details of this Type X2:

I tried connecting the Type X2 into a naomi cabinet with Sega JVS IO, with a Sega JVS-Jamma REV B. and with a Sega JVS-JAMMA Type 2, all with the same XIO ERROR.

Here are the IO board into the Type X2:

Someone can help me resolving this problem?
Is this related to the game itself needed some specific IO interface, or it's related to something else?
I'm not familliar with that type of hardware.....

I received that way, without the dongle.....
Could be that the cause of the XIO ERROR?
If i understand correctly, i can resolve this problem is i use the Nico multigame, right?

Cyber Diver from what i recall dosent have a dongle, but it does need a special JVS I/O.

Also i'm not sure if nikos multi will work with a 9800gt

you would need to change the gpu driver so it looks for other gpus besides the specific sub board id the TTX has
