Up for sale is the following project I wanted to finish but don’t have the time on hands so I hope someone will release this in the future

Brand new controll panel with analoge and digital pcb/sticks switch version original Nintendo/aleck

2x new condition aleck 64 motherboard

1x original aleck 64 game pcb with sockets to swap rom . It has now installed star solder n64 Japan version

Printed stl card mock-up with connector
Original card plastics

And in this sale is included the full card stl and sticker files

Also included 2x n64 extension cables if you don’t want to use the panel

I don’t have a file on the pcb adapter as the one I had in mind was wrong . So you need to make your own pcb adapter if you want to make these plug and play to sell

Everything is documented in the aleck 64 topic I made and my plans are also in there

Price is 900 euro incl worldwide shipping

A video of everything working will be posted when sold. Due to this a project and swapping roms and or electronics no guerantee will be given as I don’t know what someone else does wrong when swapping or making pcb s. I will be available to discuss my plan I had and or tech info

Why not release all of your files so far right now?

I would think anyone interested enough in picking up the dev process on Aleck64 would likely already have a mobo and/or panel and the best way to get someone to actually continue the work on the N64 versions is to just put it out there.

I have much time invested in the stl file as it was a pain to get it right . So if the whole stuff gets sold as a set and that person don’t give a shizzle about the files I will upload it to be used free, I want someone to finish it that’s wy I’m offering it as a set as maybe that person want make money with it to have it as a plugboard play system in the future or what ever. I already know that some people have pcb made and asking for the files a few times and then they will sell them with my casing redesign. You have to get my point :).
Wy don’t you buy everything then @twistedsymphony and release the stl

STL file is not useful to me. if I'm going to buy a design I would want the original design document not the surface model. For something like that it'd be easier for me to just design myself.

I already have several Aleck64 Mobos many carts, and 2 panels so buying all of this equipment isn't very useful to me either.

Most interesting thing to me would be the PCB design and information about getting around the security to make N64 titles run on Aleck64, but from your description it sounds like those aren't included? Even if they were wouldn't want to buy all of this other equipment that I don't have room for, plus international shipping just for some information.

Nope no pcb design in here I think that already was open and shared in the other topic . There is not security issue on a aleck it’s all open . So the only thing in there was a stl that you don’t need. So no need for any of this for you :)

One more question, and a free bump I guess.

Someone who was thinking about buying this asked me a few questions and one I did not have the answer to.
1x original aleck 64 game pcb with sockets to swap rom . It has now installed star solder n64 Japan version
Did you program this ROM or is this swapped in from an original N64 cart?

My guess is that this was just swapped in from an original cart.
But if not: where did you get the ROM chip and what did you use to program it?

I swapped a rom straight from the card to a socketed original aleck card and it works , only you can use USA/Asia/Japan games no pall because of the 50hz. Also games with extension pack ar no problem for the aleck as it has it build in the system. Only thing to watch is that some cards use a larger sec chip that does not fit the pinout
