So I've gone through and looked for threads that may have the same issue as me, and so far can't find one. Bought a Puzzle & Dragons TTX3 to convert to multi, plus RAM upgrades and a new GT 1030 GPU to replace the 640. Ram swapped ok, followed the thread by ShootTheCore to update the bios and swap over the GPU. and tested the setup in my Namco Noir. No issues, it runs fine. Recently moved it over to my Vewlix, and it freezes on booting, and the screen is off center.

Tested again on my Noir, and works fine. Put the old 640 GPU in and tested in the Noir, and again boots fine. Moved over to the Vewlix and it freezes again. Can't think of anything that changes going from one cab to another, other than the IO, which should have no impact on start up. At this point I'm stumped. Any help would be appreciated. And I have since put the 1030 back in.

What happens when you start up without the IO connected on the Vewlix? If you have a Fast IO in the Vewlix, try enable that in the options menu and see if that fixes it?

Other than that, if there’s other ports on the GPU for video, try them or check video settings in Windows.

Unfortunately I get the same results, connected or not. But I should mention, the Vewlix is running a Brooks UFB.

You’re powering the X3 from the same power point?

It could be a problem with the resolution of the monitor on the Vewlix. But two different GPU’s showing the same issue is strange. I’d try tweak the settings on the Multi to see if anything gives.

100% display settings, I wasn’t even thinking of that. Set it back up on the Noir, and changed output to 720, threw it back in the Vewlix, and it fired up.

Thanks for that.
