Have tried to convert it to DS format, but no love. Same problem with SVC Super Plus. Followed the instructions, used the FPGA from their respective original titles, but just get a crosshatch.

Have had success converting the files a year ago, but these particular ones don't seem to be working. Not sure if it's the games themselves are somehow incompatible, or I'm making a mistake since it's been so long.

If anyone can help, or at least let me know it should work, I'd appreciate it!
 
kof94te is the same format as the original kof94. If you can make kof94 you should have no trouble with kof94te.

SVC Super Plus requires decryption of all the roms, and it has protection as well.

Well I seemingly am having no success making any it seems, ha. kof94 is in the roll-up pack, and like I said, the last time I've converted one of these was October 2023 maybe?

I can try starting from scratch, but the directions are pretty simple. Wasn't sure if it was just incompatible, or an edge case, or well, I could just be doing something wrong.
 
You might find that you have to swap around the 2 halves of the P1 rom. The fpga number looks like it should be 12.

Got around to it again tonight. Only one p1 rom file, not two, so can't add them together backwards instead. Used 12 for the fpga file.

Started fresh with kof94.zip from the MAME set. Put it through the patcher from the kof94te site.

Renamed:
- 055-m1.bin to m1rom
- 055-s1.bin to srom
- 055-p1.bin to prom
- Concatenated 055-v1.v1 + 055-v2.v2 + 055-v3.v3 into vroma0
- Ran Join_crom.py on 055-c1.c1 and 055-c2.c2 into cromTemp1
- Ran Join_crom.py on 055-c3.c3 and 055-c4.c4 into cromTemp2
- Ran Join_crom.py on 055-c5.c5 and 055-c6.c6 into cromTemp3
- Ran Join_crom.py on 055-c7.c7 and 055-c8.c8 into cromTemp4
- Concatenated cromTemp1 + cromTemp2 + cromTemp3 + cromTemp4 into crom0

Still results in a crosshatch.
