Hi all,

The main PCBs I have sitting out hooked up to the supergun for long periods are a Capcom Sony ZN-2 (Tetris The Grand Master) and PSIKYO SH2 (Tetris The Absolute The Grand Master 2).

Can anyone help me think about the "right" way to mount them, or even put them in an enclosure? Without them going in a cabinet. Ideally there is some fanless micro ATX-style case out there with the appropriate mounting hole placements, but I'm sure it isn't that simple and there is no universal option with hole placements that accommodate the entire history of arcade PCBs.

In my case, maybe the two I use most are late enough generation that they meet some mounting standard.

Thanks!

in theory you could fit a lot of pcb's and the psu and convertor all inside an atx mini-tower
a full tower would be better though

I have 99% of my PCB's in Acrylic semi enclosures mainly from HighFlow. Before getting into cabs I was using a supergun exclusively and wanted to protect the boards with style. Here's an example for SEGA System32. I recently acquired a Capcom ZN-2 PCB of Street Fighter EX 2 Plus with plans to fab a case with HighFlow soon. Should fit Tetris The Grand Master. I've helped them with measurements for several acrylic cases in the past year that I own such as Banpresto SDF Macross, Macross II, Macross Plus, Technosoft HyperDuel, and Taito FX-1B Raystorm.

They also have a PSIKYO SH2 Case that might work for you: https://www.highflow.nl/arcade/game...ikyo-dragon-blaze-gunbird-2-acrylic-case.html

This would work really well for me, thanks for the links!

I have some of their stuff. Been feeding them measurements but have not heard back from them since April or so. I sent them most of the big name Toaplan and early Cave stuff but will definitely be picking up the Hyper Duel case.

That's a long time without a response! Who are you working with at @HighFlow ? It took less than 2 weeks from measurements to concept to listing on the site. we had email exchanges and I provided images, context, and examples with as much information as possible.

Here are a few of my image links with measurements:

Can vouch for the acrylic cases from Freddy at highflow I have a bunch of them, I knocked up those logos for the System 16/18/32 so they were all same size/font., also made some Namco system 11/12 logos.

That's the great thing, if he doesn't cater for something you need provide dimensions and logos and yeah he'll sort you out.

Only drawback with these enclosures is they can be a bit of a dust trap given their open design.

@hyp36rmax how do you like the enclosures from Scanline City? They look solid as hell.

Fucking love it!!! haha. Jonathan and team did a fantastic job with these. Totally gave the typical arcade PCB case an uplft. I'm not worried about flex or accidently moving things anymore. I'm waiting on their Killer Instict metal cases. Not sure when we'll see those.

Awesome! He has also said he wants to do a case for every board that is requested.

Looking forward to it, It think material shortage is hampering a lot of projects including his. Hopefully one day we'll see more. I know they teased Xmen and Simpsons.

Natalie at Highflow got back to me and turned my stuff around super quick, so there are a bunch of new designs up on the site now.

Thanks to whoever sent in dimensions for Hyper Duel and Feveron. Probably should have done one for Irem M92 (Leo).

I am looking forward to getting my 12 cases soon.
