Are Taito FX-1B conversions possible?

As per title just wondering if it is possible...
more specifically is converting raystorm to g-darius v2 possible ?

Or is it just easier to get a g-net unit?

Highly recommend the G-Net! It's a good ratio of bang for buck.

I can sort you out with the BIOS chip to upgrade if you find a motherboard.

All of the FX-1B have been ported to work on G-Net with the CF Bios Mod.

you can't convert the original boards yet because the protection chips haven't been reproduced and AFAIK no one has released any patched conversion ROMs. Doubt you'll see it either due to G-Net versions available.

I like Darius but I wouldn't be converting a RayStorm for it, that's a great game too!

thanks... if a board comes up i will consider it, g-net was not on my list until very recently

raystorm was certainly not a game i was actively looking for but glad to have it now; it is a great game...


all i can say is despite the fact mame is 'free' it is certainly not cheap...
