Are the MS9 and MS2932 remote boards interchangeable?

I have an MS9 remote board that is...repaired with little screw pots for the contrast and screen size controls which is a little inconvenient.

I found an MS2932 remote board on my MS2931 monitor frame (go figure). It looks very similar to the MS9's, same connector, same pot arrangement. The pcb layout and some passives are not visually identical.

Anyone know if they can be interchanged?

notsonic, did you ever test this out or get any confirmation on compatability here? I have a busted 2932 remote and an ms9 remote is a very easy (and available) swap if it works.

I don't think I ever tried it. I just ended up replacing the pots with nicer ones.
