I was just thinking of the same thing.
Seeing the piles of dead cooked animals, fried houses, and scorched earth the past couple of days on the news really is disheartening.
Following the fire maps, it's nuts to see how much of the continent is on fire.

There's one around 40kms away, it's under control and over the river though so I'm pretty safe.

There's so many people down south of NSW and on the border of VIC affected.

Hoping the rains that have come will help put some of the fires out. I feel so bad for all those affected down there
