What's new
@kulateam that’s the question that is always the start of the “problem” of space ;)

You could let me have that Neo 4 slot that's completely ruining the feng shui of your room since it's not a candy cab. You'd have room for the Excellena, and you'd have one in each corner of the room 8o

One tip, go to both the JST and Molex websites and search for 6 pin connectors with that pitch. Guessing it's 4.2mm or thereabouts?

It's an Amp UP connector, similar to what's in Sega cabs for button harness

Yes very nice selection @kulateam!

My personal view* is that the Exceleena 1 is a great statement cab, with possibly one of the most awesome shapes, but it’s not the greatest cab to have multiple of all lined up which, ironically, comes back to its awesome shape.

Having said that if you’ve got multiple of any cab that’s still pretty freakin’ cool!

*usual disclaimers apply!

Can any of you guys help me out with this connector? It's the factory connector on the Namco Exceleena cabs, wiring for buttons 4 and 5 into the jamma harness. Trying to ID what the plug is so I can find the other end I need for the harness.

Can't find this plug anywhere. Similar but not the same, with the two square rows in the middle. Just thought I'd ask!

Looks the same as the namco gun connector

Trade all the bikes for cabs ;)
NEVER!

But looking at my pic, i dont think i need 2 blue cabs, i don't love the red namco cab, but it works.
I reckon the red ones look a bit like an aero city/canary or one of the more angular late 80s cabs, only fatter and without cool stickers and obviously the red colour, which is not great. I prefer them to the blue ones.

It seems to me that there are so many exceleena cabs floating around in VIC.

Saw a few back on ebay, i remember one went with SFEX2 board went for only $550 or something like that. To each and their own, i am not really a big fan of the exceleena cab either, particularly the blue one can be trouble some to get through door.

Heads up for Aussies, looks like Tim Worthington is distributing the Brook Retro Board locally now:
https://etim.net.au/shop/shop.php?crn=213

Am unsure how this price fares with getting it from overseas, but I've ordered from Tim multiple times, and there's never been a problem.

Calling all Aussies, can anyone help me out please, I got @Frank_fjs most excellent minigun sorted and I have a slamming picture, I need a fightstick, or two, that I can connect to the miniguns DB15's, anyone got any for sale, or has the parts and the time and inclination to build a couple for me?

It seems nobody builds custom fightsticks in Oz.

I explored the UD-USB to DB15 option but that's not going to happen.

I'm happy to build one for you, I'm actually going to be updating mine so I can order parts for another one at the same time.

Do you have a design in mind?

I've got one of those old hori soul calibur fight sticks that I can sell if you want.. I just don't know how it works with superguns.

He’s looking for a Neo Geo pinout on a native stick. Pretty hard to find outside of a few options.

You could run wires from the stick and buttons to a female connector simply enough.

If you need a neo geo layout, it's not going to work with this fight stick :)

I do my standard mod with my fight sticks I used to use.. 6 button layout :)

Edit: I've just confirmed it all operational.... I forgotten how solid this stick is!
