@Big_P Big_p Offered to fix too he is in another state I think better idea to send local.

The issue I posted a thread about but can't find it anyway.

It just won't detect the memory modules If I recall and 3S won't load.

@cruzlink2 What is reason for the issue do you know why it happens? Cheers.
Could be a lot of things to make those slots not show, bad traces from the slots to the buffers or from buffers to ppu, bad traces leading to the GLL2 from the slots, bad buffers. Not one set solution to this could be a lot of things.

Awesome! I have a generic cab that came pre-loaded with a bunch of stuff that I need to mess around. But otherwise I have a 2019 Evangelion Pachinko and a Guardians of the Galaxy pinball. But I'm looking to get my hands on a specific cab from Japan for my wife's 40th next year - it's just a case of actually trying to find them (and in decent-enough working order!)

Nice, the Evangelion is one with the big screen? Which cab are you looking for ?
Yeah, and the animatronic Eva Unit 01 with arms/hands and a mouth that move depending on what's happening on the screen. It's such a neat piece. Bloody noisy though but that's pachinko for you.

I'm looking for either Sound Voltex or Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Arcade - both seem to be difficult to obtain because they're older machines now. I'm in the process of buying controllers in the hopes that if I can't find the cabs themselves then I'll see about making them. Ambitiously I'm thinking of possibly having an egret-style cabinet that has a swivel screen given Sound Voltex is a vertical-based game while Project Diva is horizontal. But I'll have to see what I can do (or rather, who I can get locally to help me make). It's for my wife's upcoming 40th next year so I have a bit of time but I know that time will get chewed up before I know it.

What cab(s) do you have?

Have you come across Martin at Blue Spring Express? https://bluespringexpress.net/

I've got a pair of Blast Cities, a Windy 2, and NAC, which is pale in comparison to some of the legends on here. I'm always tinkering, looking at doing a PSU fan mod this weekend; the Blast Cities sound like a pachinko den.
A rotating egret would be a dream, but pretty damn rare. Recently there were a couple Egret 29 cabs up for sale in the Middle East, from memory; the 29 is my personal fav https://www.hard--candy.com/wiki/candy/Egret_29
There is a guy in this thread that has a good story about doing a dash to secure an Egret 2; he's the only person I know who has one, and I think you would need that level of commitment or more to secure one in Oz!
Ziggy's call above is a good shout for a votex. Zak in Springvale is always coming across bits too; unlikely to have a vortex or diva, but we did chat recently about some MaiMai machines.

There are quite a few Egret 2 cabs in AUS, just that not many have publicly changed hands over the past 1-2 years. With the cost of living crunch, people may be inclined to sell? Just have to wait patiently and hope someone lists one 🙂

Egret 29s however are pretty rare over here, and can fetch even more stupid $$.

Martin is likely the best bet to source music based cabinets 👍

Rotating egret 2s imo are not worth the price they command.

You're far better off spending the money on two astro cities and have one permanently yoko and Tate and not have to worry about rotating 🤣

I've also heard some horror stories of ppl necking their tubes when rotating an egret.

But each to their own, the e2 seems to command a certain "status" which in effect "warrants" the price. Full disclosure, I have one, but if I had space, I'd trade it for 2 astros any day of the week.
