AWSD Power Supply Interface PCB

Hello Everyone,

This PCB solution for the Meanwell PSU is such a beautiful solution. I have the following :

- Astro City
+ MS2932
+ Sega PSU and Jamma
- Naomi 1
+ Wipi
+ Capcom IO
+ Mitsurugi’s adapter to connect to a PC PSU

Goal:
Being able to power the Naomi from only the Arcade Cabinet’s power supply without needing to power it with an additional PC PSU.

Is there a PCB for the Meanwell PSU that can achieve that?

I have the Naomi stereo Amp with transformer which I have not tried to hook up to the candy cab yet but I want to get stereo sound.

I am open to your suggestions.

yeah, get an NVS-4000 PSU for your astro and get the JVS cables for it.
Thank you for your advice.

It would be just cool we can get a modern solution to the NVS 4000.

I was hoping that the Sega PSU could be upgraded and incorporate Naomi support.

Hi! :)

is there a version of this PCB for an output with JST B06P-VL & B08P-VL PSU Naomi connectors ?

Thank you

Hello everyone I am having issues with this power supply and I am wondering is anyone can provide some insight?I had this issue before and I never resolved it from 4 years ago as I ended up selling the AWSD and now I am trying to get a new power supply working in my vewlix for my naomi 2. I must just have a bad run of luck or I am not understanding the adjustments on the pot for v1 and v2 for the meanwell qp-150-3a power supply.

The issue I am having is adjusting the 3.3v and 5v rails. In the product description it states the the 3.3v rail and the 5v rail are both adjustable with pots. V2 pot should be the adjustment for the 3.3v and v1 pot should be the 5v. However no amount of adjustment (v1 or v2 pots) can I achieve voltages of 5v and 3.3 (one or the over is considerably higher ex. 3.3v @5.4v or 3.0v@ 5.0v). The v1 pot seems to make adjustments for both rails.

Attached are pictures of what I measure are directly from the power supply.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated as it seems like this is a great solution.

I am measuring unloaded because I don't wan to overvoltage anything. I am trying to setup my Vewlix with a Naomi 2 and I don't want to test it underload with the Naomi as I am afraid that I will fry something. What do you suggest I test the PW under load with?

Also when testing would you have loads on all three rails 3.3v, 5v and 12v?

The aliexpress link for the voltmeter used for this adapter is no longer available. Does anyone know where else I could get a valid voltmeter to use instead?
