B&K467 CRT Restorer/Analyzer attempted restore

I have the same issue as @Bad_Hambre with my 490. It is driving me nuts. It is a very clean unit that didn't really have any broken solder joints.

2BH7A continuity is OK, I have no other means of testing
Transistor Q1 checked
Rectifiers D1-D4 checked
Transformer, apart from the G2 controls the unit works fine?
Capacitors C11 & C12, replaced
Resistors (R40,) R41 & R43 checked
IC1 & IC2, removed and checked

I hate taking the thing apart, I've already broken connections to two of the lamps.

I shotgun replaced all transistors Q1-Q10. I still can't get cutoff settings to work.

I hate this thing.

But checking the Q10 transistor, it was a 2n5550.

Mine was a PN3643. I replaced it with a 2N4401.

I have given up on mine after a while but i will be tackling it again in the mid to near future. Round 2!

I wonder why the spec sheets are different from what is on the boards?
Even if servicing these units, arent you supposed to replace it with the same value?

Has anyone had any luck finding a suitable replacement for damaged gauges? Heater/Red gauge on mine has never worked and I'm in the process of restoring mine.

I should mentioned I've searched pretty extensively; there were some NOS spares sold on ebay like 4 years ago, but I've seen nothing since. Scavenging another unit just leaves another broken unit, so it would make sense to figure out a solution.
