WTB Bare/Unpopulated CPS3 mobo

So, life gave my CPS3 some lemons recently. ebzero is an absolute hero and came through with a security cart (which is now on it's way back to them!), but sometime in-between the last time I had one of my last good boards I've hung onto populated and working to now, something's happened and it's throwing a character ram error. Checked lord only knows how many traces and completely replaced the 2D-5D DRAM, but, still no luck at the moment. Gonna keep working on it, but I don't wanna hedge my bets on getting it fixed in time for the next local meetup.

I've got all the simms, security card, SCSI2SD, etc, just need a unpopulated working mobo. Thanks for reading!

Two people have messaged me here for original security carts and game disks, but don’t need the MB or SIMMs. If I find the particular game set either person is looking for maybe they would be willing to do a group buy with you and everything can be split up.

Anybody need original SIMMs? That would make this easy for everyone

Definitely appreciate the offer! Can for sure throw some cash in the pot to split if someone's game for that I think there's a couple WTBs still looking for Simms since I think DS posted that the repro pool is drying up for a little while; @Hakkyokuken comes to mind.

Just for giggles, I looked at Surugaya. Ridiculously high prices! WTF happened in the last year. Jojo and 2nd Impact sets were like 50k at MAK in Fall 2020. 40k hike in a year and a half? Yikes! There's been currency inflation in Japan like everywhere else, but not THAT much.

Hey @Joko3 , after you get GeeDee looked after, I could use a spare, bare CPS3 motherboard as well. I was able to perform a miraculous repair & rescue on my current CP3 board, but I don't know how much I trust it to last long term.

Everything is expensive now, including CPS3. Popularity of 3S is seeing a resurgence.

I'd pile on about a bare board, but not much of a point given that there's already a line. Free bump and good luck to all!
