V2 of BetsuBetsu video splitter is basically done. Gonna put this on github later this week probably.

Pic next to v1 for scale.

Changes from v1:
- Video gain now using triple pot
- Much smaller and less components
- SEGA mini-din 9 instead of mini-din 8 (cheaper cables, same as Minigun uses)
- Output now DC coupled instead of AC coupled, mainly to keep component count down
- Button 5 for AW now connected (weird that it was NC on v1)

In general, all of these changes are just quality of life for building and usage. DC coupled video instead of AC coupled should in theory not make a huge difference for video quality, and has less components.

Its no longer possible to adjust color levels individually, but OSSC can do that so who cares.

Mini-din 8 cables are expensive, and MegaDrive2 RGB cables are slightly cheaper and easier to get.

Need to test this a bit more, but seems to work

Looking good.

Video output from a 15 pin D Sub connector would have been better. But getting shot of the mini-din 8 is a good move.

Theres some reasons for this choice.

- OSSC recommenda using av1 (scart) for lowres video (https://junkerhq.net/xrgb/index.php/OSSC#AV_inputs)
- Smaller footprint
- People seem to like using the same cable for audio as well (I dont since sharing video and audio gnd is sketchy but hey some people want this)

Edit: Also, gotta leave room for a v3 lol

Lol, should have waited with starting this thread a bit. After the initial testing I played around a bit more and I keep finding issues that I need to correct. So uh, this thing is coming some time in the future I guess

Now working perfectly. V1 vs final v2 below.

Tried to keep component count to pretty minimal. Volume pot was removed since it seems fine to adjust to lower values in OBS if needed.

Gonna put the final thing on github later this week probably
