Blast city 5V rail.

Hello, my blast city puts out over and under 3.3v no problem as I adjust the POT. The 5V only gets down to 5.24 even at the rheostats minimum with the 12v @ 11.16v. To get my 12v to 12v I have to crank the 5V rheostat to 5.68v.
So I recapped the power supply board and sound amp board with all nichicon caps (including the big filter cap), No change. Any suggestions? Should I replace the 5V voltage regulator? All my boards work great except the Naomi hates it, Naomi works fine with all other power supplies @ 5V, 3.3v.

Is that without a load / nothing connected?

12V doesn't have to be exactly 12V. 12V is mostly for audio amps and fans. Personally, I don't even bother measuring it, it is what it is.

Oh..great call. That’s no load. Let me go load it. Will a load increase/decrease both the 3.3 and 5?

A PSU will not give accurate readings without a load. It should decrease both.

Full report Nem, I measured with Naomi load, adjusted to a perfect 5.05v and 3.34 at the JVS into the naomi board. Power smash is running flawless. I really appreciate that info brother.
