Video of Snap Crackle Pop

I introduced a stereo cord into my Jamma Blast City, and got a very loud and bad BUZZ. Turned off immediately.

Then no picture, tried a few boards, no change.

Replaced the jamma harness, then I got picture but I had this intense snap/crackling, which culminated in a loud POP and I lose picture.

Took a video, posted above.

I let it rest a bit and it's back to a soft crackle at start and no picture.

Neck glow had been normal throughout all this.

What is going on?? Please help!

Now it looks completely normal after a few minutes. What the hell was that?

I turned it on again after a few hours and no picture, but heard some normal power-up monitor sounds. Omg.

Then a few min later it's working normally!

Sounds like you have some mean arcing going on.
Are you sure your anode cup and neckboard is connected correctly? My best guess is that you’ll see lots of arcing if you look at the chassis in the dark when you power on.
 
I have a friend coming over for Marvel tonight so I'll check the back ;p thanks!

When I turned it on this morn, I had picture briefly (Naomi logo boot sequence) the it faded to nothing.

Turned on again, nothing.

Jiggered the Blast I/O jamma connectors a little, then picture was back after a few min ;/
 
I haven't. It's working normally so I kind of forget about it this week. I still have no idea what happened since all I had changed was the stereo plug in place of the mono one.

I will though to see if there's anything weird powering up or down! Really appreciate you taking a look!
