Beginner
Completely new to this, but I have Taito Type X installed in a Sega New Net City. I purchased the Type X via ebay from china. It was supposed to come with TGM3, but considering that it has a generic Western Digital harddrive and no USB security key, I'm guess it just has some sorta multigame installed.
However, on startup the screen briefly flashes with a blue background and a mouse cursor, then the screen goes black and then back to the blue screen but without the mouse course. Nothing happens after that, and no error messages are displayed
Any troubleshooting tips?

UPDATE: In case any comes across this with a similar problem, turns out the hard drive include with the TTX must have just been flashed wrong or something. I flashed my own drive using these instructions https://www.arcade-projects.com/threads/a-freeware-taito-typex-multigame.5926/
And it worked right away.
