I don't want to call out the eBay seller, but I bought a 4 slot MVS which at some point in time had its capacitors replaced but they were too tall. This caused the board to bow when fully assembled. Of course, this bowing wasn't pictured or mentioned in the eBay listing. And it should be no surprise that the system didn't even power up.
I guess this is really just a warning to others. If an MVS shows signs of repair work then make sure you ask for pictures of all four sides because there are sellers who will try and pull this kind of thing.
