I have two of those and they work well with the HAS.. I don't seem to see or feel input lag but again I am that sensitive to lag:).. Being able to map the buttons in the HAS is a huge advantage of that supergun:)

Undamned does let me map 6 buttons if I'm using a kick harness. This looks like perhaps this one is preset to pass through 4 inputs, but no more. Might want to think about that... I can confirm the undamned passes through all 6, at least on the ps360 I just tested (but no reason to believe it'd be any different with a brooks).

edit: oh i see the key showing it passes through 8 buttons... lemme know if it does 6 through the HAS if you get one!

Bit the bullet and ordered a pair. I'll report how they work, though I am still currently stalled on my supergun video output situation so there may be a bit of a wait.

any benefit over undead? i have like 4 undead, so i guess i am fine ...

Do these work with the CPS2 kick harness and the HAS?

I have both converters for my HAS Supergun as well and they both work fine
No noticeable input lag on both

I do like the ease of remapping with the Undamned Converter and the form factor over the Brook Converter

Thanks for the confirmation. I totally overlooked the firmware update is mentioned on https://www.brookaccessory.com/detail/95441291/ . Brook looks like a good alternative to Undmaned due to its availability.

Having issues getting the firmware update on mine but it looks like it has been proven to work regardless. Another option to consider is:

Thanks. I looked at it before. Since I am not really good at electronics, I prefer what’s available in the market. USB2DB15 is twice as expensive as Brook. I’ve talked to a few vendors on this forum, who mentioned that they will have something similar this year. We’ll see what happens.

I recently purchased a pair of these and I can’t seem to figure out how I’m supposed to connect these to my PC so I can update the firmware. I tried plugging in a micro USB into the PC slot on the front and then plugging that into my PC with the button on the converter held as plugged it into my PC but the updater program didn’t recognize it.

I wasn’t able to find any videos or much of anything regarding people showing how to update the firmware for this device. Any help is appreciated!

The directions are pretty straightforward
Try using a different PC and see if that helps

Everything I read made me believe it should have been relatively straightforward but unfortunately I have tried a plethora of cables and even a different PC and my computer still refuses to recognize the converters when I launch the firmware update.

I’m sure I’ll get it to work eventually, I primarily bought these to play 6 button games on my supergun so admittedly I am a little upset. :((

I appreciate the advice nonetheless.

Have you tried plugging in the USB differently?

When I had to update I found having it plugged into the Brooks First then my PC was much easier

Maybe try it like that and reversed?
