found a Bubble Booble bootleg PCB many years ago,
Today i decided to clean, test and eventually submit to my shelf.
Pinout was different. it was easy.
Surprisingly, this bootleg have all copyright and logo intact, but still be the bootleg we know by years: no randomization at bonus bubble letters.
I decided to reburn into "Bootleg Redux" but I had a feeling things wouldn't turn out quite right coz this board have the MCU, at least a try of MCU
since "Bootleg Redux" was designed for non-mcu boards, i had clear that malfunctions will be appear.
so, roms from my board were dumped. before erasing. just "5" matched at romident, other two are unknown.
after that, i reburned into "Bootleg redux". the result was:

- how to play is wrong. player died two times lol
- inputs are "turbo" mode. i mean, holding buttons acts as rapid tap, same as controls. i recorded the demo attract mode too, in order to show that "turbo" mode is an input issue. coz player can move as normal.
i started guessing what is going on. firat thing was removing MCU piggyback but game wont work. just boot music with black screen over and over.
after that, i started playing with eproms. discovered that IC "3" from my previous dump return the region (usa) and input back to life, but randomization for bonus bubbles dissappeared.
have someone the same problem than me? because i never seen this bootleg BB pinout, and never seen one with MCU inclued. always unpolulated zone at PCB.
I attached the dump of my board if someone want to add to mame, dig on it or whatever.
