epoxy is nothing, i'v removed loads of it from stuff.

any point in using a bath of acetone to soften the epoxy? works wonders in cases where resin has started to conduct, like in the Roland Juno Synth voice chips.. You might be able to clean the board totally then.. IDK, might be a different resin, but you can test on a piece of the resin that has been already removed, see if it goes all floppy..
