Just to close the loop on this (again, this time for good), I did finally receive a refund. Thanks to folks on here for your ideas and support.
Honestly it wasn't about the money as much as the time spent chasing this over the past 6 weeks that I found very frustrating and wanted to see a positive outcome.

Up to the powers that be (@Darksoft ) on what they want to do with this info. I think it would be a disservice to future buyers to change the title from negative to neutral though so I won't unless I'm required to. Also txuko hasn't been refunded just yet so there's that...
