If I hadn't already committed to external SCSI for my X68030, I'd be all over this. Thank you so much for supporting the X68000 community Caius!Added Sharp X68000 Compact internal SCSI adapter.
Great ! So we still need to solder pin sockets on the original SCSI board, right ?Added Sharp X68000 Compact internal SCSI adapter.
Correct. You need to solder 2x15 female pin headers (round machined ones preferably).Great ! So we still need to solder pin sockets on the original SCSI board, right ?
X68000 is a wonderful machine so it deserves all our attention and care![]()
I have another little project coming for X68000, an adapter to properly use the HxC emulator with these machines. Here's a picture of the first prototypes (one to plug into the external FDD connector of Pro, Ace,Expert, Super, XVI models, the other for internal Compact FDD connector)
First testings were good but I need to through most of software library to validate the devices.

If your X68030 is the Compact model then it has 3.5" internal FDDs and uses the same FFC connector of the X68000 Compact. But probaby your X68030 is the tower version (CZ-500).Does the Compact use the same internal connector as the x68030?
