topic I have a dead motherboard for house of the,dead one though is,it possible to wire up the naomi to it or is the wiring different? If different use there information on converting? Thank you
can I use a house of the dead 1 cab to play HOTD 2?

100% of the electronics are different. in addition to the main board you have
Different Monitor resolutions
Different Power Supplies
Different guns
Different GUN IOs
and you'd need to wire up the gun LEDs around the monitor.
so yeah, you'd be looking at completely gutting the cab to do that conversion.
Options you do have:
Virtua Cop and Virtua Cop 2 would drop in there.
or Jurassic Park the Lost world if you upgrade your power supply as well.

Lost World use IR guns, like HoD2 and newer games (except it uses 12 sensors and not 10 like newers).
So VC 1 / 2 and HoD 1 only use this system.

Lost World is compatible with both.
it seems Sega originally designed to work with the XY Gun board from VC1/2 and HOD1 before moving to the IR system and the code it still in place.
Ask @ekorz I told him about this and I believe he's using the CRT Guns from HOD1 with his Lost world PCB.
Yep! For Lost World I am using the HOTD1 gun io board, and just some regular Happ crt guns.
