Both are built from stainless steel, printed with accurate colors, finished with scratch-resistant lamination, and pre-drilled for Sanwa and Seimitsu sticks (plus compatible with original cabs and quality clones). In short: they’re made to feel just like the real deal.

Hey everyone

Just wanted to share that I’ve finally released a Versus City–style 1L6B CPO panel.
Even though it’s based on the Versus City layout, the important part is that it fits perfectly on Astro City and other SEGA candy cabs that use interchangeable metal panels.

It’s made from AISI 304 stainless steel, laser-cut, with laminated artwork, and drilled for Sanwa JLF and Seimitsu sticks (LS-32, LS-55, LS-56). The idea was a clean, durable, arcade-accurate panel that works both for restorations and fresh builds.

I’ve made these in very limited quantities, as usual.

To be honest there's a lot of variation in official panels as well. Sanwa (and I assume Seimitsu as well) made them under license in addition to Sega.

The quality, finish and fit are as close to the originals as it gets. Perfect!!!

I'm tempted to get one for my New Astro CIty, but is the soldered mounting plate actually supposed to be there on an OG (new?) astro city panel ? Feels like the sticks would sit lower than on an OG panel.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

That's the OG panel design for sure.

They've got a 95mm spacing on the two M4 holes, and are designed with a bent plate in mind. These panels used an LS-32 as standard, but Seimitsu doesn't make these plates anymore. Sanwa still does, I think - the JLF-P-1S. I made some 3D printable ones:

It was one of the first things I ever designed so they might need an overhaul, but they work.
