FS Capcom CPS2 New Old Stock Components

Just throwing this out there. If all the chips look good, is there any easy way to diagnose which one has failed?
I have intermittent sprites on a parts board.
Other parts boards have various issues but not acid damage.

You would need to study how the CPS2 works. I haven't spent enough time studying in detail in these boards work outside of a very high-level perspective, so I wouldn't be able to help unfortunately. A lot of these tile-based systems work in a similar fashion so it's easy to get an intuition that way.

It's possible that there is a bad trace that carries data for the sprite graphics.
