Hey everyone,
Had this cps3 that had a stuck heavy kick input,
Traced the heavy kick pin from kick harness connector to array c6 , tested the array and it came with odd values so i replaced that but nothing changed , so now the culprit is clearly the DL-2929 , replaced that with one from a donner board , it worked to fix the heavy kick but now i had a different button stuck , removed it again and replaced it with another one from a donor board praying that it was good , soldered the new one and boom everything is good.

under one of the chips corners and keep moving the hot air and pry up the chip gently and don’t force it ( if you force it , you’ll rip pads ) , make sure the needle is away from the chip pins , when the chip pins are fully molten you should be able to pry the ship to the side , and done
