I recently got a Cap cab. Been playing through it and realized the boss names are completely absent! I have the US version for sure since it has the WINNERS DONT DO DRUGS, and I know from watching playthroughs that this version should include the boss names.
Anyone encounter this before, and if so, anyone found a fix for it? It happens for all bosses. Can't find any information about it nor videos where this seems to be the case save for one other user back on KLOV who has the same thing happening...otherwise, the game appears to play perfectly fine. But part of the joy of the game IMO are the mistranslated names lol. If it's a faulty chip or otherwise, any advice on that would be appreciated, including if anyone is able to program a fixed one! Or if it's an earlier/later revision, if anyone knows where I could get the proper revision chipset, that'd be awesome.
EDIT: Okay I did find ONE video where the names don't appear, so I'm starting to think this may be a revision of sorts after all. It also uses the US version:
