Chewlix Monitor / Speaker Replacements 2026 ?

Hi

Ive got my eye on one of videotronics new chewlix's ,if i get one I'd like to upgrade the monitor and speakers.

Does anyone know the best options for replacements in 2026 ? Think I'd ideally like a 1440p screen but would consider anything better than the stock one.

Also the best possible speaker and amp replacements , I will hopefully be putting a PS4 / PC / 360 and Naomi (OSSC) in this.

Chewlix is pretty easy to replace the monitor in. There are tons of custom solutions available, but most people just use some simple VESA arms and attach them to the monitor frame. I have run 1440p IPS (LG 32GP850-B/32GP83B-B)and 4K OLED (Gigabyte AORUS FO32U2) , obviously OLED is better but the IPS was great as well. I would prob stick with an IPS panel due to viewing angles.

Picked up a Chewlix from a friend, I needed something to play newer games and wanted an easy to rotate vertical cabinet. I am typically CRT only but this has been a really pleasant surprise. I have already changed out the monitor, speakers, art, etc. Figured it may be helpful for anyone looking to do a rebuild, since this parts list is a little more current than what I found searching. Still adding, prob going to run some LEDs in the top artwork, need some black screws, small stuff.

Thread 'QD-OLED (4k\240hz) install into Vewlix\Chewlix'

Got my Gigabyte FO32U2 (P version has DP2.1) last night and installed into my Chewlix. I had a LG 850 series IPS in the cabinet prior which was a really nice monitor for viewing angles and color but constrast was 1000:1 with only 165hz (only 120hz as a multiple). I have another Vewlix coming and needed a monitor for it so I decided to move the IPS display to the new cabinet and install an OLED in my current cabinet for an upgrade. Im also going the same route as you. My chewlix should.be here end of March. Ordered without the monitor. As I will be putting a msi 322URX oled in the cabinet. I have a vesa mounting kit coming with it.
 
Are you getting yours from video tronics ? Interesting you can buy it without the monitor.

No mate getting from chino chan. He comes highly recommended on facebook vewlix/chewlix owners and fans page. You can tell him want way you want it.
 
I have ordered from Chino before and had no issues, but it was smaller chewlix parts. In general people talk highly of him on the FB groups.
