Hi,

I found another Outrun2SP Chihiro set that runs off a CF Card instead of the GD-ROM drive. I want to wire it up in my Le Mans 24 cabinet which has the Model 3 dash. No, I'm not "converting" the cab as I plan to put the Model 3 cage back in, but I want to rotate games.

I dug up the schematics for OR2SP and while it uses the 838-14174 MIDI servo motor board instead of the 838-12289 on Model 3 cabs, three connectors appear to be the same, but there is an 8-pin connector with 5 pins that go directly to the Chihiro filter board. Knowing how to crimp NH connectors that's not hard for me.
It doesn't appear to use an additional drive board like the Model 3 cabs do. Can I still leave the Model 3 drive board 838-12898 powered while the MIDI board is powered? I seem to recall that powering the drive board helps the wheel auto-calibrate on boot.

The rest of the setup looks fairly straightforward. Just need to build harness that connects analog and digital to the JVS Type 1 IO. Then obviously since this cab has a Nanao MS9-29, I will have to look for something to downscale the 31khz of VGA to 24/15khz. I've seen the Ultracade UVC but they are going for 3 figures nowadays. I do have a prebuilt GBS Control that's like this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/335559517428. Wonder if I can get the Chihiro video to 240p using that?
