Chihiro Type 3 - Error 25

Hi all - I have a type 3 Chihiro with a CF reader connected. I'm getting error 25 (can't access gd-rom drive) when trying to boot a game. I'm told the fix for this is to replace my RAM module, is that accurate? Also does anyone have the RAM spec for this box? Some googling shows DDR-200, but want to be sure.

Do you get the error right away or does it happen mid boot?
