Chihiro Video Loopback Cable

I've been keeping an eye out for a Chihiro Type 3. I have the chance to buy one cheap in "unknown" condition. but it's missing the video loop back cable... this thing:

I'm curious if you can use a normal Xbox Video output cable or if this thing is required for for the Chihiro to function.

What is the connector on the other side? it looks like a Japanese D-Sub but it's hard to tell from pictures.

I made one of those once with cat5e wires. Getting the original Xbox connector desolidered was probably the trickiest part. The actual wiring was just tedious, but it did work.

Yeah I found an old 3rd party cable that connected to three different systems. I had to cut the plastic molding off the connector with a dremel to get to it but after that it went ok. It is ugly but it works.
