I have a Consolized Game Gear system by the Behar Bros which I am looking to sell. I can't find any info on these, or even the last time one was sold. I read a post where someone thought they made 24 in the initial 2017 run, but I got mine in the 2019/2020 run and I'm not sure how many were made available then. Any information would be appreciated! Thanks!

It's still available, but I also don't know what the value should be. I guess I'm asking $2000 since it's pretty damn awesome and VERY rare, but there are literally no previous sales to set a standard. If anyone knows of one of these selling, or even exactly how many were made, I'd love to know!
 
If you are able, take internals pictures.
The price would make most people want internal pictures of what the mod is.

This seems to be a common misconception. Looking at the marketplace rules, there is no rule requiring a posted price and no prohibition against "MMAO" threads. I may have missed it but this has come up a few times, and everytime people look, no such rule appears to exist.

OP obviously meant he does not know what the secondary market value of the item is. Surely you knew this.

At this point, we are close to or engaged in thread crapping and/or price policing, which do violate the rules. If you think OP is violating the rules, I would recommend reporting the post.

True. Behar Bros soldering quality is all over the place in my experience. I’ve dealt with cold solder joints on a few of their Dreamcast adapters.
 
I cleaned up this thread a bit. You guys really cant help yourselves sometimes. Some of you take to personal attacks too soon and others get too easily triggered.

Also, stop with the price policing.

For the record there is no rule against MMAO threads.

There is no rule REQUIRING an asking price though maybe there should be?

I removed what I wrote as it caused a battle.

Can we put this rule to a vote via poll the forum? Leave it up for say a month? It seems to already be an unofficial one, so I believe the active members of the forum should decide officially.
