Hey guys,

I have a dodgy cps 1.5 with the Chinese rebuilt audio section.

The board looks, play and sounds good.

However I would like to rebuild the audio section.

Has anyone done this or have a part list. It looks like it should be easy if I have the parts, which I assume are an amp module and a few caps

Cheers

I have done this.
I recommend Chipquik to pull the amp.
Console5 has a cap kit.
If it still sounds different after you have knock off audio chips that also need replacing.

Thanks for the lead, did you have a list for the resistors also ?

so far i have a caps list from KLOV https://forums.arcade-museum.com/threads/capcom-cps1-cap-kit-information.449697/

The audio amp is a Hitachi ha13001 (heat sink still eludes me)
