It won’t matter, you can leave it on. The pcb just won’t draw any -5v

Like nearly all JAMMA Japanese games don't use the -5VDC.
Mortal Kombat and a few midway games do. Most candies don't even have a -5VDC rail on the jamma harness, that's how little it's used
