Would need a close up picture of all the customs to check for corrosion.
As cruz said we'll need closer, clearer pics of the customs to better ascertain. Also, if you checked out the twitter post cruz linked, he mentioned that there were corrosion and trace damage under the customs. So even if they look fine from above, you might be having issues under those chips. See if you can post some close-up, well lit pictures of the major customs.

Open the white plastic capsule. Hopefully yours doesn’t have a burst battery inside like mine did.

Gamebit driver (same as SNES I think), remove the screw, pop the latches.
You could also just smash it open, I guess. It's pretty useless.
FWIW, sticker on the side usually indicates later PCB revision which most likely does not have the battery under the cover.
