I’ve seen a couple of different situations for no screen output. 1. The C board could be bad. It doesn’t look like it so I would save this for last but I’ve seen a situation where the c board causes no output to the screen. 2. I’ve seen a situation where the rom chips are not in the correct places. Do not take the stickers off the rom chips. I have a video of someone doing a repair on his board so I will send you the video in another post. Also, just curious, what region is this board? I hope you don’t mind me asking but would you be interested in selling it? I’ve been trying to build a complete MegaMan arcade collection with a board from every region, and rentals and test location boards. Anyway I hope this info helps a little. I’ll post the link to the video.

A few things you can try:

1) Disconnect the three PCBs from each other. Inspect the pin connectors on each board and make sure none of the pins are bent or missing. Then firmly reattach each board back to each other and test.

2) Get some canned air. Using a small flat screwdriver, carefully lift each EPROM out of its socket. Blow out the socket with canned air, then carefully & firmly reinstall the EPROM. Make sure that none of the EPROM legs is sticking out of the socket. Repeat for every EPROM and then test.

3) The bottom A board is largely the same for all CPS1 games. If you have access to another CPS1 game that works, swap the A board around and see if it the game boots up with the other A board.

Hi guys,

thanks for your feedback.

1 - Its has the some symptoms on the video shared by @MegaMan, Do you know where I can get that pal chip? Meanwhile I'm going to try to check the roms.

2 - @ShootTheCore I have inspected and reinstall the EPROM and nothing. I have tested another Bottom A (thanks for the Tip) and exact same issue, so it narrows down to the B and C, my understanding is that if its the C Board (don't another to test it), the game would work without image or with glitches, that was what @stj was trying to test right?
